About us

Scouting Slovakia, the primary national Scouting and Guiding organization of Slovakia, is one of the the largest youth organizations in Slovakia and a member of both the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

We are a voluntary, independent, non-political, non-profit, educational organization for young people, accessible to all regardless of origin, nationality, race, or religion.

Our mission is to help our members achieve their whole physical, intellectual, social, spiritual, emotional, and social development, both as individuals and as responsible citizens and active members of local, national, and international communities.

Local Scout Guide is a project where we connect foreign scouts who want to visit Slovakia with Slovak scouts who would be happy to help them. If you´re looking for a place to stay, a tour guide, or just a Slovak scout to spend time with, the Local Scout Guide will help you.
